Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly skilled legal assistant to join its dynamic International/Immigration Team. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude to meet the needs of high-level clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and file immigration petitions.
• Manage correspondence between attorney and clients.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
• Oversight of individual client preferences, client accounts, and requests.
• Maintain attorney calendar.
• Provide proactive and advanced legal support.
• Other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Create positive client interactions through understanding and communicating information effectively in writing, by phone, by e-mail, or in person.
• High attention to detail, be proactive, and self-motivated.
• Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently.
• Prior U.S. immigration experience is preferred.
• Preference may be given to applicants who are fluent in Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
